Ms. Brown, Senior Consultant with Glenridge, has a diverse background with over 15 years of healthcare experience, having worked in payer and large provider organizations in numerous capacities, including Strategic Planning, Marketing, Product Development, Finance, Underwriting, Network Development and Actuarial. In recent engagements Ms. Brown has served as Project Manager focused on large-scale network development engagements, typically managing teams operating concurrently in numerous markets.As Project Manager, she is responsible for all aspects of project set up, protocol and process development, systems and reports customization, documentation and training of client and Glenridge teams and ongoing resource management and quality assurance during the course of the engagement. She leads regional and national provider recruiting teams and serves as liaison with client on management and network status reporting, issues resolution, processing of business cases to justify non-standard contracting terms, and development of contracting strategies and materials to optimize provider agreements. She has extensive experience with Commercial and Public sector products including Medicare Advantage and Managed Medicaid. She also uses her strong financial background in financial modeling and market assessments.
Prior to joining Glenridge, Ms. Brown was Director of Strategic Planning and Analysis for CareFirst Blue Cross Blue Shield. In her role, she developed the three year corporate strategic plan, the annual business plan and all quarterly and monthly reports. Working directly for the executive team and Board of Directors, she created real-time tracking and monitoring tools for management to observe corporate results and competitive updates. Prior to her Strategic Planning Role, Ms. Brown held a variety of positions in the industry. As Director of Marketing & Product Development, she launched multiple products and managed diverse product lines; as a Senior Financial Analyst, she created fee schedules and physician incentive programs; as an Actuarial Analyst, she priced the entire HMO product line; as an Underwriter, she managed a large book of business. Ms. Brown leads managed care engagements that include network development, provider relations, and financial analysis and managed care strategic plans for healthplan and health system clients
